Chill Songs From The Game's "LAX"

The hardcore West Coast rap from the Game is a gem in the rap industry because no main stream artists can really come through as grimy as he can.  Lil Wayne is straying off into the R&B gig with T-Pain and his last album was too focused on his finances.  The Game's new album has a few tracks that have soul but provide the rough-edged delivery The Game is known for...

: This is a Scott Storch produced track with a bass line similar to Nas's "If I Ruled the World". Chrisette Michelle's voice is a definite throw back but fresh to hip hop music and I believe it is versatile enough to cross over to other genres with the right production.

:: This track is produced by Mr. Kanye West. It has a nice funky riff going on and you can't go wrong with a collabo with Common.

: This song is produced by DJ Hi-Tek which is one of my favorites for his very chill sound. He knows how to sooth you with his melodies and delicate percussion ensembles.  He is most well-known for his album with Talib Kweli called "Train of Thought".  This song is reminiscent of "Maybach Music" by Rick Ross. With Nas and Game preaching on the track in an ode to Martin Luther King it is a classic.
