The Miami Jook: Grind Mode

Wow! I've been in Miami the past couple days and this song by a local group called "Grind Mode" is blowin uppp here. I couldn't wait to get to a computer for about two days cuz this shit was stuck in my head the whole time. And this is how you do the Miami Jook, in case you were wondering. Great shit.

Just in case the same shit happens to you....here you go:

That Nonchalant Music

These songs have simple ass beats and the rapping is almost quiet....but they still go hard. I don't know when this style started, but I like it. Ying Yang did it with the whisper song and The Pack did it with Vans.
And check out this Ying Yang song. The lyrics are hilarious. Don't play this for the gf...unless she's a freak:

Stunnaman from The Pack: no vegetarian

This video is called Vegetarians...for doods who don't want beef.

Stunnaman's been makin a lot of music on his own with a little more gangsta than The Pack music. I don't know if Young L made these beats. They all sound like they're made by the same dood though.

Stunnaman - Drugs

Stunnaman - I'm in the Gang

Stunnaman - I'm on tour

Stunnaman ft. I Go - Heart Cold

SS Mixtape Volume 1

The S.S. Mixtape is out. S.S. or the Stars and Stripes family is basically Young Squad (Young L, Young O.T., Young Scott) and Lil B. Young L on the beats, so you know that it slap. Behold:

R&Bay: GO DAV

The bay area version of Pretty Ricky. GO DAV is an acronym for Going Outrageously Dumb At Venues! Haha. I think the nation would be into this group if some big label picked them up. Sick beats and unique style.
The Jynx, the most talented member of the group, has a couple songs of his own where he sings and raps.

I keep these on the beezy playlist...

E-40 on the Move

Check out Earl at his birthday party last month:

As you can see, he wasn't lying when he said "I'm plannin on growin some." I can't wait to see them get long enough for him to be able to shake them dreads. E-40 also announced the launch of his new vitamin/energy drink called "40 Water." Apparently he was serenading the crowd with samples of his new album "The Ball Street Journal" which is set to drop in the first half of 2008.

In case you were in a coma or you're not from the bay, check him out on Too Short's new track:
