Barack Obama's acceptance speech for the Democratic nomination for presidential candidate pulled the highest ratings than any speech of the same sort before it. This is understandably so because he is the first non-white nominee of a major party in the history of the US. He spoke of his non-native father's dream that his son could do whatever he set his mind to in the land of oppurtunity we call America. Barack Obama is doing just that and against the odds beset by the last 232 years of this country's independence.
