So the Jynx is gettin his hustle on with his Myspace page, but I think he can step it up. He needs to put music videos out. He needs an album. I mean I'm cool with things the way they are. He's puttin out fresh music and I know about it. I just think the rest of the nation would be interested if they found out. Then again, when artists focus too much on getting noticed, they lose their style/uniqueness. Alright, and btw this next song could be a hot video. I wonder what the ballerina dance looks like. This beat is fire:

E-40 - Turf Drop
Okay, okay. Here's the song:
What do you think? Let me tell you, the first time I heard this I was thinkin, well I like to go dumb, but this song is kinda dumb. It just sounds like E-40 is trying to remake "Tell Me When to Go" but with Lil' Jon instead of Keak Da Sneak..... but wait! before you pass any judgement, I would like to try something. Watch this video:
For those of you who are not from the bay (or the heathens among you who are from the bay and do not follow the Warriors), this is Baron Davis while he was hitting the game winning shot at the buzzer vs. the Celtics last night.
Okay. Now re-listen to the song while watching this video.
Do you like it now?? Feel free to comment. There's no right or wrong answer.
In other news, I'd like to post this song. I love songs with snaps and bass and funny lyrics. Thank you Mr. Collipark, you make me want to go to the middle of the dance floor and dance like a fool/clown/clueless person/beezy/dummy.

Hot Dollar in "Hip Hop Goes Electronic"
You may know Hot Dollar from "Streetz on Lock" or from the "Who the Fuck is that" song with T-pain. He's from Compton and he's Guerilla Black's brother. Anyways, a lot of the hip hop songs comin out these days are goin with the electronic Timbaland-like SexualEruption-like beats. For example these two songs:
This next song by Shawty Redd has a suspiciously similar beat (and identical beginning). By the way, Shawty Redd produced the Snoop Dogg Sexual Eruption so he's not copying. It's just the new style! It's fly.
I'd also like to toss in this last one. It's got a bay area-like beat and plus he makes reference to having Vans on. I couldn't resist.

Diligentz: Fresh Impression Vol. 3
The new Diligentz album: Fresh Impression 3 (In Fresh We Trust) came out last month. They continue making fresh beats and catchy hooks like on Alligator..."i'm on like shit, got my pupils dilated". Here's 4 off the album:

Kanye West performance at the Grammy's
Wow.
It's hard to describe that. It was one of the best performances I've ever seen. That's not a normal person on stage. It's hard to believe after watching that, that he can be just like everyone else. Who else can command that much energy? I wonder how many jaws were dropped during that performance. Haha I feel really bad for Fergie and John Legend who had to follow it up.
Edit: Okay it looks like the video above is now disallowed by youtube. This is the best I could do: Kanye's new bizarre video for Flashing Lights...

SneakyMike!
SneakyMike from the PoleBoyz! I was checkin out his music the other day and I was really feelin it. The beats are perfect. It's like he knows what the ear wants to hear. Soothing as hell, while still being energetic. I messaged him and told him there were a couple songs I HAD to have. Next thing you know, he hits me right back....and there you have it:

The Cool Kids!
The Cool Kids (Mikey Rocks and Chuck Inglish) are a rapping duo from the the Midwest. They're definitely doing their own thing, ignoring today's norms of the common hip hopper. They say their influences are old school rap from the 80's and 90's. It's a pretty tight combo of old school rhythm with a modern twist.

The JYNX from GO DAV
The Jynx keeps making the flyest music. Dood can sing and rap, and it all goes hard. Talent.
This first song has to be an anthem. He's making a video about jamba juice right now. I hope Jamba Juice either pays him for the advertisement, or at the least gives him free Jambas for life.
Great chorus on this next one: "swipe your visa for a hotel, it's a one night stand. baby, its a one night stand, you dont want me as your man...one night...me and you...baby you're intelligent"
This next song is by The Jacka. The Jacka is one of the realest rappers out of the bay. I'm surprised he's not more popular. The Jynx sings the hook.
Since I brought up the Jacka, I might as well put up one of my favorite not so popular songs of his. It is legendary.
